Milagros Charms

Milagros — "miracles" in Spanish — are small tin charms that Mexican families have brought to shrines for generations, each one standing for a wish, a thank-you, or someone being prayed for. The hearts, hands and figures in this collection are cut and hand-painted by artisan workshops in Oaxaca, one at a time, so no two turn out quite the same.

Hang a set on a gallery wall, tie one to a gift, or bring them out as Christmas ornaments — light enough for a tree branch, sturdy enough to keep for years. Alongside the classic heart charms you'll find embossed tin crosses in two sizes, made by the same workshops.
